What’s New in Drafting

• Flexible Workflows - You now have complete control over how you build your patent draft. Whether you prefer to start with your own pre-written claims, focus on specific figures first, or jump straight into spec-writing, our new workflow adapts to your preferred approach.
• Contextual AI Assistant - Our new AI assistant provides real-time, context-aware suggestions as you work. When iterating on any section (Claims, Summary, etc.), the system offers targeted feedback and recommended actions based on what's written so far, helping you refine your draft with precision.
• Track Changes - Before committing any AI-suggested modifications, you can now review all proposed changes in a familiar track-changes format, allowing you to accept, reject, or modify suggestions with complete confidence.
• USPTO-Compliant Patent Formatting - Your exportable drafts will automatically include proper paragraph numbering, section headers, and other formatting elements that meet USPTO standards, saving you valuable time during the final preparation stages.
• Improved Figure Support - We've significantly enhanced our figure handling capabilities, with better labeling accuracy and support for complex file formats including PDFs and multiple figures within a single file.
• Configurable Drafting Outline - You can now configure the structure and approach of your specification before the AI begins writing, ensuring the resulting draft follows your preferred organizational style.
• Enhanced Stylebook Customization - Our stylebook feature now offers greater configurability to match your organization's specific drafting preferences. You can create and save multiple stylebook versions and include style reference snippets for consistent drafting.
• Ground Truth Verification - Before drafting begins, you can audit source materials and verify key features and embodiments, ensuring the final draft accurately reflects the intended invention.
• Access - The updated drafting module is available now to all drafting customers. Simply log in to your Patlytics account and select “Generate” to begin drafting. All existing patent drafts will be available via the previous drafting (i.e. “v1”) experience.
