The ACPC Summer Meeting gathered chief patent counsel and senior corporate IP leaders for three days of presentations, discussions, demonstrations, and networking.

Patlytics participated as a vendor sponsor, with CEO Paul Lee and Candice Jaesun Kwark representing the team. Paul and Candice took the stage to demonstrate how the Patlytics platform is helping corporate patent departments modernize their workflows with AI.

Their presentation explored how Al is rapidly expanding what corporate IP teems can accomplish across patent research, analysis, prosecution, and portfolio strategy. The session generated strong engagement from heads of IP at companies including Caterpillar, RTX, Micron, and Saint-Gobain, with thoughtful questions and discussion throughout.

One of the clearest takeaways was that corporate patent departments are moving beyond early Al experimentation. Leaders are increasingly focused on how Al can improve the quality, speed, and scalability of substantive patent work while allowing internal teams to maintain control over strategy and decision-making.

The broader program addressed important issues facing chief IP counsel. Sessions included discussions on patent damages and IP valuation, including how recent Federal Circuit decisions may affect litigation strategy and transactional decision-making.

Outside the formal programming, attendees connected through a welcome reception, breakfasts and lunches, an additional Monday reception, and a Tuesday reception and dinner. The meeting also Included a private guided aviation tour of the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum.
