Eric is an IP attorney, with over 11 years of experience at leading law firms like Paul Hastings and Morrison & Foerster, representing startups to large multinational companies in high-stakes IP and technology-related litigation. His matters have involved a broad range of technologies for clients like AbCellera Biologics, Amazon, Nikon, Palo Alto Networks, and TSMC. At Patlytics, Eric leads the Strategy team of nearly 10 IP attorneys who leverage their experience and expertise in aligning customer needs to the Patlytics platform as well as working with the technical team to develop, refine, and improve the product.

Candice brings a practitioner's lens to Patlytics, drawing on her experience as an IP litigator representing leading companies and executives across the pharmaceutical, high-tech, automotive, consumer products, media, fashion, and retail industries. Before joining Patlytics, Candice spent nearly a decade as an IP litigation attorney at Steptoe, appearing before U.S. federal district courts, U.S. courts of appeals, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).

Shiv Malhotra is a Strategy Lead at Patlytics. Before joining, he spent a year and a half in Strategy & Operations at Traba, leading Southeastern U.S. market and growth operations. Earlier, he worked as an Investment Analyst at Marlowe plc focused on strategic M&A, and completed an Investment Fellowship at RPS Ventures. Shiv received his BA in Economics from Yale University.

Before joining Patlytics, Carol spent a year as a Customer Success Partner at SAP, following over two years as a Customer Success Manager at Clio, a cloud-based legal technology company, where she supported law firm customers navigating new software adoption. Earlier in her career, she worked in marketing automation and relationship management, in roles at KMB Consulting and Computershare.
