Patlytics Welcomes Ken Korea to Advisory Board

Patlytics, the AI-powered end-to-end patent platform, today announced the appointment of Ken Korea to its Advisory Board. With more than three decades of legal experience in intellectual property licensing, litigation, and technology transactions, Ken brings a unique combination of global dispute resolution expertise and deep industry insight to Patlytics’ mission.

Ken currently serves as an arbitrator with leading international and domestic arbitral institutions such as the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), American Arbitration Association (AAA), International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR), Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). He also serves as a mediator on court panels such as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of California, San Francisco Superior Court and Los Angeles Superior Court.

Before transitioning to his current roles, Ken was a litigation partner at several leading U.S. law firms and served as Senior Vice President at Samsung Electronics from 2011 to 2021, overseeing hundreds of IP litigation and transaction matters, including the Apple-Samsung patent war. He has been extensively involved in SEP/FRAND disputes involving 3G/4G/5G technologies. Prior to private practice, Ken served as a judicial law clerk to a federal judge and a federal prosecutor. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law.

Ken joins Patlytics because he recognizes the transformative potential of AI in helping legal and IP professionals navigate complex patent disputes and licensing negotiations more efficiently. Drawing on his extensive experience as both advocate and neutral, he sees Patlytics as a bridge between data-driven insight and practical resolution, empowering IP teams to act strategically in litigation, arbitration, and transactions alike.

As a member of the Advisory Board, Ken will advise Patlytics as it continues to expand adoption among global law firms and corporate IP departments, ensuring the company’s technology enhances precision, transparency, and strategic foresight across the patent ecosystem.
